Why does the product description search return no results in Import Mexico?

The Product Description filter in Import Mexico follows a specific rule: searches must be done in Spanish, as the data is extracted from Mexican public documents (pedimentos). Also, the description filter on the home screen requires at least one other mandatory field to be filled in to enable the search.

Step by step:

1. Access the product and click Quick Access to Product to open all filters.

2. Select a Date Range (mandatory).

3. In the Product Description field, type the term in Spanish and press Enter to confirm before clicking Filter.

4. For more precise searches, combine the description with other filters like HS Code or Importer.

💡Pro tip: If you know the product's HS Code, start with it; results tend to be more complete. Use the description as a complementary filter.
